PB Consult at Smart City Expo 2023 in Barcelona: Shaping the future of urban mobility

It is one of the most important industry congresses on urban innovation: the Smart City Expo World Congress, which will take place from 7 to 9 November 2023 in Barcelona, Spain. When more than 20,000 professionals meet at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona from 7 to 9 November 2023 to inform and exchange ideas about the future of cities, Dorsch Gruppe subsidiary PB Consult will be there with its own stand.

Participation in this congress is of great importance for our group as it offers the opportunity to build contacts with leading companies, governments and organisations. "Every year, the leaders of the most innovative companies, governments and organisations meet there - and we hope to make contacts with potential clients and partners," says Michael Hauck, responsible for business development at PB Consult.

PB Consult's stand can be found in the Bavaria Pavilion in Hall 2, where Michael Hauck will be joined by Managing Director Georg Kern, Gary Harris, Principal Transport Engineer and Coordinator International Projects, and Ying-Wei Lee, Sustainable Mobility Planner.

"For us, smart mobility means much more than just digitized transportation. In our understanding, it includes a clear prioritization of transport modes in the conceptual design," explains Michael Hauck. "The involvement of people on the ground (during the planning phases), a sound collection and analysis of data, and a meaningful link to technological innovations. This is the only way to generate added value and more users for sustainable mobility."
